LionSteel TM1 Green Canvas Micarta, Satin Sleipner by Molletta (TM1 CVG)
- TM1 Green Canvas Micarta, Satin lightweight, strong and easy to carry LionSteel knife with Solid® Knife technology. The only Solid Knife to feature a Back-Lock was challenged by using micarta for the monolithic handle design.

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
TM1 Green Canvas Micarta, Satin folding knife by E.D.C. Italian manufactory LionSteel with Solid® Knife technology. Lightweight yet strong and easy to carry. The only folder with Solid technology equipped with a Back-Lock, it was quite a challenge considering the use of micarta for the monolithic, one-piece handle construction.
Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known and respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in knife design.
Sleipner - a versatile high-alloy chrome-molybdenum-vanadium tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance with a balanced alloy composition: chromium content of 7.8% (Cr), 0.9% carbon (C), molybdenum 2.5% (Mo) and vanadium 0.5% (V). It achieves a high hardness of 60-62 HRC. Manufactured at Uddeholm steel plant.
Blade - modified Drop Point profile with clearly marked belly provides excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Plain blade was derived with Flat Grind, which perfectly presents a matte satin finish. Thumb Disc on the back of the blade to open the knife. Located in the middle of the handle, the solid Back-Lock blade lock with double locking spring mechanism provides greater flexibility of the mechanism and increased durability of the locking system.
IKBS - (ball bearing system) allows fast, smooth opening of the blade.
Handle - in Solid® Knife technology, obtained from a unique block (one piece) of waterproof micarta treated 4D. As a result, a monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength was obtained, which is a strong, solid structural element. The grip facings were CNC machined, obtaining an anti-slip texture. On the underside of the handle protrusion / hilt, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade during operation. A two-position left/right metal clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up (tip up) position. Bolted to the frame with a screw / glass beater made of tungsten carbide. In the back of the linings lanyard hole, a hole for a cord.
