B41 Olive Wood, Stonewashed, a bushcraft knife from Italian manufactory LionSteel. The goal was to create a handy but reliable knife with low weight for all kinds of outdoor work. Perfectly balanced, versatile with a full tang construction with a Sleipner steel blade, it provides tremendous cutting power. Targeted at bushcraft, survival and hunting enthusiasts.
Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known, respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in knife design.
Sleipner - a versatile high-alloy chrome-molybdenum-vanadium tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance with a balanced alloy composition: chromium content of 7.8% (Cr), 0.9% carbon (C), molybdenum 2.5% (Mo) and vanadium 0.5% (V). It achieves a high hardness of 60-62 HRC. Manufactured at the Swedish Uddeholm steel mill.
Blade - extremely sharp with Drop Point shape, ideal for all kinds of woodworking. Covered with Stone Washed finish masking minor scratches. Plain blade was derived with Flat Grind, high grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. The enlarged protrusion acts as a hilt protecting the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle - made of exotic Santos wood. Milled with a non-slip texture for excellent grip and a secure hold. Flat shank with lanyard hole, a hole for a rope, helpful for lighting a fire with a flint, can also serve as a hammer.
Sheath - extended, protects the blade along with part of the handle. Hand-stitched, made of natural brown leather with embossed manufacturer's logo. The edges of the holster were stitched with decorative thread. Fastened with a Prym type snap. The belt attachment allows carrying the knife in an upright position.
