N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with the addition of molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - Clip Point stainless steel finished to mask minor scratches using the Black Stonewashed method. Plain blade, high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. On the back of the blade is a short, grooved section of the wedge (jimping) on which you can rest your finger. This allows you to maintain greater control when working.
Handle - Micarta burlap plastic facings (pressure-pressed jute with synthetic resin) in green, with a slightly rough surface. The profiled shape provides a comfortable, secure grip even with wet hands. A large "finger ring" in the back prevents the knife from falling out of your hand, and also allows you to take a break without putting the knife down.
Sheath - made of kydex, extended, protecting the blade along with part of the handle. Thanks to the T-clip (Tek-Lok) mounted to it, we can almost freely attach the knife to a belt or to the equipment.
Case - the knife is packed in a zippered nylon soft pouch with the brand logo for safe carrying and storage.
