N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Lever-lock - secure locking mechanism of the blade. Located on the handle, the folding lever is used both for opening and for folding the blade. The design of the mechanism prevents accidental folding / opening. It is worth noting that all models of Mikov Predator spring knives, have a unique system of safe replacement of opening springs without disassembling the knife. If they are damaged, the opening springs must be replaced with new ones (# 241-SPRING).
Blade - Spare Point type. Made of well-sharpening, durable N690 high-cobalt stainless steel. Wedge back with false blade for increased piercing properties. Plain blade, was derived with a Flat grind for good cutting properties. The entire blade is finished with a scratch-masking and glare-eliminating Stonewash method.
Handle - ergonomic facings made of scratch-resistant ABS plastic in black. The profiled shape provides a comfortable, secure grip even with wet hands. Blade cap finished with a bolster made of stainless steel. Solid metal clip on the right side allows for quick retrieval of the knife as well as safe carrying in tip-down position (blade tip down).
