Versatile outdoor knife of full tang construction with a blade made of Swedish Sleipner steel, aimed at enthusiasts of survival, hunting, lovers of other outdoor activities.
Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known, respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.
Sleipner - a versatile high-alloy chrome-molybdenum-vanadium tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance with a balanced alloy composition: chromium content of 7.8% (Cr), 0.9% carbon (C), molybdenum 2.5% (Mo) and vanadium 0.5% (V). It achieves a high hardness of 60-63 HRC. Manufactured at the Swedish Uddeholm steel mill.
Blade - extremely sharp with Drop Point shape, with marked belly, ideal for all kinds of work. Satin-smooth Plain blade was derived with a high Flat Grind, the high grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Enlarged hilt protects the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle - milled facings with non-slip texture provide excellent grip. Made of beautiful olive wood with a unique pattern. Mounted with Torx T8 stainless steel screws. Flat shank helpful for lighting a fire with a flint, emergency can act as a hammer or glass breaker, in addition lanyard hole, rope hole.
Sheath - extended, protecting the blade along with part of the handle. Hand-stitched, made of natural brown leather with embossed manufacturer's logo. The edges of the case were stitched with double decorative thread. Fastened with a Prym type snap. Attaching to the belt or to the shoulder strap allows you to carry the knife in an upright position.
