Mikov Predator Deer Stag 5 blades switchblade (241-NP-5/KP)

Predator Deer Stag 5 blades, number of blades (5), number of tools (7). A functional swichblade automatic knife from the Czech company Mikov of Mikulasovice with five blades and deer antler facings. The Mikulasovic region has specialized in the production of knife products since 1794, and is called the "Czech Solingen."

Robust, sturdy construction, strong springs that open the blade, the possibility of replacing them without taking the knife apart, are unique features of Mikov Predator spring knives. The folder when opening emits a characteristic click that distinguishes Predator automatics from other spring knives. Thanks to its characteristics, it is suitable for use in any environment on hunting, while camping as an EDC. It is worth noting that one of the models was used in the movie "Casino Royale" by Agent 007.

Handle - covered with natural deer antler facings (red deer stag), providing an exclusive look and a comfortable, secure grip. Ergonomic and profiled for the hand, so the knife fits very well in the hand, does not slip, you can easily operate it in all conditions. The top of the handle is decorated with a stainless steel rear bolster.

AISI 420 (American Iron and Steel Institute) - martensitic stainless steel rich in carbon 0.15% and containing min. 12% chromium. In the annealed state, it has good ductility and excellent corrosion resistance. AISI 420 grade has the highest chromium content of all stainless steels, 12-14%, and a hardness in the range of 53 -55 HRC.

Blade - sharp, symmetrical dagger (dagger) type. Back with a false blade increases piercing properties. Made of polished, easy-to-sharpen AISI 420 stainless steel with high corrosion resistance. Plain blade, derived with a Flat grind for good cutting and penetrating properties.

Lever-lock - a secure mechanism for locking the blade. Located on the handle, the folding lever is used for both opening and folding the blade. The design of the mechanism prevents accidental folding / opening. It is worth noting that all models of Mikov Predator spring knives, have a unique system of safe replacement of opening springs without disassembling the knife. If they are damaged, the opening springs must be replaced with new ones (# 241-SPRING).

Case - fastened with a Prym type snap. Made of high quality natural leather in brown color with embossed manufacturer's logo. The leather sheath has an attachment to the belt or the armor allowing to carry the knife in an upright position.
