Böker Magnum Balisong Rainbow knife (06EX401)

Balisong (butterfly / batangas / taal / butterfly) kind of folding knife used for defense. Folder derives its name from the village of Balisung in the Philippines meaning singing butterfly. Dating back to the 7th century AD, it is considered one of the oldest weapons in the Kali fighting system. It is one of the most recognizable types of knives in the world.

Blade

Sharp drop point blade with a thickness of 2.9 mm. Made of easy to sharpen 440 stainless steel, characterized by high resistance to corrosion. Plain blade with Flat Grind, which provides excellent cutting properties. At the tip we have a Flat Grind in the lower part of the blade and a false blade in the upper part. This gives the knife excellent piercing qualities while maintaining great strength. When unfolded, the back part of the blade creates a guard that prevents fingers from slipping on the blade. Multicolored blade.

Handle

Made of stainless steel which for relief of the knife and improving grip was made a series of notches. At the back of the handle there is a latch locking mechanism which clasps the handle arms in both closed and open positions. The axis of rotation of the arms has pivot-pins attached. Like the blade, the handle has been coated with Multicolored.
