Steel

N690 - cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C) martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the range of 59-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade

Drop point type with elegant Satin finish. The slim belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle sharp tip of the knife. Low thickness combined with high Flat Grind gives excellent cutting properties combined with high strength. The pads support the smooth operation of the opening mechanism of the blade, which can be opened with a quick flipper front flipper. To improve blade control, the back of the blade is covered with upper jimping, notched thumb rest. The entire blade is locked with a modern liner lock.

Handle

Two pieces of solid Carbon Fiber (carbon fiber pressed under pressure with synthetic resin) in black. Chamfered edges and fine texture improve grip security. Open-backed construction with steel bushings reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The stylized pivot adds a distinctive touch to the handle. The right-side clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-down position with the tip of the blade down. The back of the handle features a lanyard hole, a hole for attaching a safety or decorative cord.
