Taidea Diamond Sharpener 600/1000 (TG2019)

Taidea Diamond Sharpener (600/1000) TG2019 is a high quality table top sharpener with diamond grit in two gradations, 600 and 1000 grit. This makes it easy to bring even a severely dulled blade back to sharpness!

Construction

The base is a plastic plate to which metal plates with a coating of monocrystalline diamonds are glued on both sides. Thanks to holes in the steel plate, which collect and retain metal particles created during the sharpening process, the surface of the sharpener always remains clean. Each side has a different gradation:

• 600 grit, for initial sharpening of severely dulled/damaged cutting edges
• 1000 grit, for final sharpening or sharpening of slightly dulled edges

Thanks to large width (75 mm) you can easily sharpen long blades like kitchen knives, axes and shears. Large work surface is also convenient for precision sharpening of smaller blades. Made of plastic base has a solid, non-slip feet that allow for stable and safe sharpening.

How to use

Place the sharpener on a flat, level surface. Depending on the dullness of the cutting edge, use one or both sides of the stone.

600 grit - use this side only if your knife is really dull, or if you want to sharpen a ceramic knife. To sharpen the knife, slide first one side of the knife, then the other side, over the stone (applying light pressure) several times. To remove a damaged cutting edge (small chips), we recommend using a lower grit.
When sharpening the blade, make sure to keep an appropriate tilt angle (15°-30°)

1000 grit - this side is used for smoothing the surface of the knife. You can use it frequently to sharpen your knife. To smooth the cutting edge, gently move the knife several times, first one side and then the other.
