Böker Plus Shamsher G10, is a small, strong automatic knife with a head that extends from the side of the handle thanks to a strong spring. The original design is a credit to Darriel Caston and Stan Mojzis, renowned knife makers and designers. The manufacturer paid special attention to the design of the springs, the opening of the blade takes place within a few hundredths of a second. When opening the blade, the automatic makes a characteristic sound (click). In this model, the moment of force when unfolding the blade pleasantly jerks the hand, which shows what strength lies in the springs of Böker Plus knives.
D2 - high carbon tool steel. With a high content of 10-13% chromium, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and resistance to abrasion.
Blade - sharp 2.9mm Spear Point with Satin finish. Made of excellent D2 tool steel, characterized by high strength and good sharpness retention. Smooth Plain blade with Flat Grind for excellent cutting performance. The tip of the blade is flat ground on both sides, both in the lower and upper part of the blade. Thanks to this, while maintaining high strength the knife has excellent piercing properties. Mechanism of opening the blade is realized by the lever on the back of the handle. Knife is locked with proven Liner Lock.
Handle - chamfered facings of black G10 (fiberglass compressed with synthetic resin). Surface of cover plates with fine texture for better grip. The whole is mounted to a stainless-steel frame. Screwed to steel backspacer to stiffen the construction. Simple, solid construction gives assurance of many years of use. In the back of the handle there is a hidden lanyard hole for safety or decorative cord. Comes with a nylon pouch to carry the knife.
