9Cr18MoV - Chinese high grade stainless knife steel blade, easy to sharpen. High content of 18.0% chromium and average 0.95% carbon provides excellent corrosion resistance. The presence of 0.8% silicon and 1.3% molybdenum increases steel strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.
Blade - clip point type, finished with black stonewashed method. The thick belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade, converging towards a needle-sharp tip of the knife. The Hollow Grind provides powerful slicing performance while the aggressively hollowed clip point is suitable for piercing and precision work. Ceramic ball bearings assist in opening the blade with a thumb cutout or quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). Finger choil, index-finger notch facilitates use during precision tasks. All locked with proven liner lock.
