Double Helix Gray Titanium, Black Stonewashed everyday carry knife made from the finest materials. The drop point blade is made from CPM S35VN steel, which is an upgraded version of the popular CPM S30V steel.
CPM S35VN - an American martensitic stainless steel designed to provide improved strength over CPM S30V, while maintaining corrosion resistance at the highest level. The chemical composition has been balanced so that it is composed of 0.5% niobium carbides along with 3.0% vanadium and 14.0% chromium carbides. Replacing some of the niobium carbides with vanadium carbides makes it about 15-20% harder than S30V without losing wear resistance. It is also easier to machine and polish. The improved CPM strength of S35VN provides better resistance to edge chipping. The CPM process produces a very uniform, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Manufactured in Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) mills.
Blade - opens with a double-sided nail nick milled into the upper part of the blade so it can be used by both right- and left-handed people without any problems. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for smooth operation of the opening mechanism. The small thickness of the blade in combination with the high, concave grind gives us cutting properties almost on the level of a razor. On the back we find perfectly made "jimping", notches on which we can put our finger to improve grip and control over the knife during use. The blade was finished with "black stone wash" method. The whole is locked with a patented slide lock by WE Knife which is a creative development of a well-known AXIS.
Handle - milled on CNC machines from titanium 6AL4V, in gray color. Both facings are connected to each other by spacer sleeves. The simplicity and solidity of this construction give assurance of many years of use. The deep carry clip, one-position (right), made of titanium, allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. The rear spacer can be used to thread a safety or decorative cord. As in other models, the pivot is decorated with a stylized logo of the manufacturer.
An elegant pouch for carrying/storing the knife is included.
