Black Damascus - blackened damascus stainless steel blade with a beautiful unique pattern. A blade consisting of two different types of steel, forged and assembled together in different ways obtaining this amazing pattern. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.
Blade - cleaver type finished with Black Hand Rubbed method, hand rubbed Damascus. Elongated belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade. Thickness of blade provides high strength while high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened in the classic way by means of the milled recess in the blade, nail nick or quick flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper creates a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. Locking mechanism is Liner-Lock.
Handle - G10 layer, laminated with Carbon Fiber (carbon fiber) with Twill pattern. Smooth cover surface, but with a perceptible texture improving grip security. The whole is mounted to steel liners, which in practice means many years of use. Backspacer made of black G10. Pivot axis decorated with stylized Civivi brand logo. Two-position left/right metal deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position. Above the clip is a lanyard hole.
