9Cr18MoV - wedge made of chinese high-grade stainless knife steel, easy to sharpen. High content 18.0% chromium and medium 0.95% carbon provides excellent corrosion resistance. Presence 0.8% silicon and 1.3% molybdenum increases steel strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.
Head - satinized drop point. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. Slight blade thickness combined with high concave cut (Hollow Grind) gives excellent cutting properties combined with high strength. Steel ball bearings support the quick opening of the blade, which can be opened by the flipper fins (index-finger flipper). When opened, the fin forms a mini-garden preventing your hand from slipping on the blade.
