David Evolution Green Canvas Micarta, Dark Stonewashed design by Tommaso Rumici. Forged from a single piece of steel, a medium sized knife by the Italian brand Viper. D2 - high carbon tool steel blade with a touch of chromium. Subjected to vacuum and cryogenic heat treatments and two-phase tempering. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-61 HRC and abrasion resistance.

Blade - Drop point covered with DSW (Dark Stone Washed) matte finish. Despite the significant thickness of the blade, high, flat grind gives excellent cutting properties combined with extreme durability. Low descending guard prevents fingers from slipping on the blade during work. Notched portion of the back of the blade, the spine jimping ramp positions the thumb, giving solid support, making it easier to operate the knife.

Handle - made of green Canvas Micarta laminate, bolted directly to the steel, provides a virtually indestructible construction. The curved shape of the cover eliminates sharp edges, which have been heavily textured to improve grip. The unique ergonomics of the handle allows the knife to be held in both directions, especially for users who appreciate the reversed grip. On the back of the handle is a skull crusher and lanyard hole, a hole for attaching the line.

Scabbard - Vega Holster with additional pocket for accessories: sharpener or flint. Made of waterproof Cordura® in black. The holster has a snap fastener which protects the knife from falling out. Allows attachment to M.O.L.L.E. system webbing. (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment), or on the belt. The lower part of the scabbard with a DuraFlex buckled thigh band with rubber reinforcement prevents the scabbard from moving on the thigh.
