CPM S30V - corrosion-resistant, mechanical stress-resistant American powder steel CPM S30V with added carbon, chromium and vanadium with hardness 58-59 HRC. This unique steel is designed for the production of high-quality blades and knife wedges. Manufactured in steel mills Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM).
Head - Clip Poin provides a long, gently curved cutting edge. The blade is coated with titanium carbide, a scratch-resistant non-reflective coating TiCN (Non-Reflective Titanium Carbonitride). Smooth blade Plain was derived by grinding flat (Full Flat Grind). Enlarged 14 mm cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) for ambidextrous thumb opening. Notched back of the head, ramp (jimping / crosshatching) positions the thumb, gives solid support and makes it easier to operate the folder. Blade lock Back-Lock with additional cutout Boye Detent, preventing accidental release of the lock when the knife is firmly gripped.
