Fox Perser Niolox by Reichart Markus Knife (FX-103 MB)

Perser, a durable knife with full tang construction by FOX. Aimed at survival enthusiasts, ideal for mountain hikes and in the woods. Extremely versatile due to its weight is suitable for heavy work. Wide, solid blade provides a balance between strength and cutting-edge geometry.

Niolox is a German steel produced by Lohmann steelworks. The name comes from the element niobium (Nb). Niolox contains 0.7% of it. It is characterized by aggressive cutting, wear resistance and good impact toughness even when hardened to 61-64 HRC. It has some corrosion resistance (8.5% chromium) but is not completely stainless, requires minimal care.

Blade - wide with Drop Point profile with clearly marked belly. Upper jimping, notched thumb rest on the back of the blade makes it easier to control the knife. Single sided steel rim protects hand from slipping on the blade.

Handle - profiled in black, covered with non-slip waterproof grips made of micarta (yute micarta), durable and lightweight composite material. The back of the handle has a Lanyard Hole, an opening for a belaying or decorative cord.

Sheath - extended, protects the blade along with part of the handle. Made of black leather with embossed manufacturer logo. The scabbard is fastened with Prym type buckle. Attached to the belt or to the equipment allows to carry the knife in vertical or horizontal position.
