Designed for professional use by uniformed services, it also performs well as an E.D.C. knife.
N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - an extremely sharp Drop Point with a pronounced belly, finished using the Stonewashed method, which helps conceal minor scratches. The smooth Plain edge features a flat grind, ensuring durability, excellent cutting edge geometry, and extreme cutting performance. The blade locking system is two-tiered: a solid Liner-Lock mechanism combined with an additional manual safety lock.
