Harrier was the very first knife from Byrd series. Released in limited quantities, it is now a highly prized collector’s item. The Harrier 2 resurrects and refines this classic design to offer a practical everyday-carry cutting tool in a size that splits the difference between the best-selling Cara Cara 2 and the Meadowlark 2.
Blade - with Drop Point profile made of well-sharpening, easy to sharpen 8Cr13MoV stainless steel (equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel). Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a full flat cut (Full Flat Grind) reducing the weight of the knife. Blade has a textured index-finger choil, and is available in both plain and partially serrated formats. Blade blockade: Back-Lock type with protection against accidental release of the lock during grip.
Handle - non-slip textured in two directions claddings (Bi-Directional Texturing) strengthen the grip also with wet hands. Made of G-10 material, stainless steel liners. 4-way clip positions. Spine Jimping corrugated notches on the backs of the handle increase comfort grip. The gap (lanyard hole) allows you to attach a security rope.
