SR1A Black Aluminium, Satin Blade first folder from the Italian LionSteel manufactory with the exclusive Solid Knife technology. Light but strong E.D.C. folding knife, winner of the prestigious Blade Magazine knife of the year award. Comes with pivot-pin-adjustment tool, a spanner to adjust the folder.

Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known and respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experiments in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.

D2 Böhler - a blade made of high-carbon tool steel doped with chromium. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and resistance to abrasion.

Blade - Drop Point profile with a clearly marked belly provides an excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The Plain blade has a Flat Grind, which perfectly presents the satin finish of the blade. The Thumb Stud on both sides of the blade allows for quick opening. Notched spine jimping thumb ramp for better grip of the knife.

IKBS - (ball bearing system) for fast, smooth opening of the blade.

Solid Frame-Lock - reinforced, monolithic handle lock made of Ergal aluminium. One of the facings serving as a locking mechanism is reinforced with a hardened steel insert.

RotoLock - a lock with a patented additional locking mechanism in the shape of a titanium shield by Gianni Pauletta. When the knife is open, turning the RotoLock by about 1/8 turn clockwise wedges the locking mechanism, preventing unintentional release of the blade lock, providing the same stability of the blade as in knives with a fixed blade.

Handle - made in Solid® Knife technology, obtained from a single piece of Ergal aluminium, machined in 3D. This results in a monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength, which is a solid structural element. Facings with CNC machined, texture-enhancing grooves perpendicular to the length of the handle for better grip. Knurled edge on underside of handle (hilt) prevents hand from slipping on blade. Two-position left/right metal clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position. A lanyard hole in the back of the handle for a cord and a stainless steel clip retaining screw that can be used as a glass breaker.
