It is an extremely hard, synthetic and super abrasive material rated at 90-95% of diamond hardness, however, with greater chemical and thermal resistance, so it can be used to process alloys and iron-based steels in which you can not use a diamond. Due to its unique properties, its price is on average 30% higher than the price of a diamond.

Rods with triangular cross-section 7"x 0.5" (178mm x 13mm) weighing 49.5g each. Covered with regular, boron nitride grains bound with ceramic material, they collect steel to a much greater extent than diamond bars.
