Byrd Meadowlark 2 FRN Brown, Plain an affordable, handy second-generation Spyderco folder. Thanks to its small size and low weight, it is an excellent choice as an EDC knife for everyday use. Available with linings in brown, gray and blue.
Blade - with the Drop Point profile, ensures perfect cutting edge geometry at low friction. Made of good sharpness, easy to sharpen 8Cr13MoV stainless steel (equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel). Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a full flat cut (Full Flat Grind) reducing the weight of the knife. The corrugated fragment of the blade -ramp positions the thumb and gives a solid support. Arched index finger cut between the handle and the cutting edge (finger choil jimping) facilitates folder handling. Comet-shaped notch (Spyderco patent) for quick blade opening. Blade blockade: Back-Lock type with protection against accidental release. Cutout in the block of David Boye's design.
Frame - reinforced with stainless steel plates to which the claddings are attached, ensures the strength of the structure. The phosphor bronze pads ensure trouble-free smooth opening and closing of the penknife.
Handle - non-slip, textured in two directions claddings (Bi-Directional Texturing) strengthen the grip also with wet hands. Covers in trendy brown color, made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) material. Metal hourglass clip with the possibility of fixing in four planes (up / down, right / left) 4-way clip positions. Spine Jimping corrugated notches on the backs of the handle increase comfort and grip. The gap (lanyard hole) allows you to attach a security rope.
