Distinguishing features of the Stretch 2 folder: a longer grip for increased leverage - improved ergonomics to reduce fatigue during prolonged use - exceptional geometry of the VG-10 steel blade - a deeper Finger Choil.
Blade - with a modified Drop Point profile, 3 mm thickness. Made of Japanese stainless steel VG-10 (high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage), hardened in the range of 59-61 HRC. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a full flat cut (Full Flat Grind). This cut has reduced the weight of the knife and improved cutting properties. The SpyderHole round cutout (Spyderco patent) allows you to open the folder also in the glove. Solid blockade (Back-Lock type) with additional Boye Detent notch, preventing accidental release of the blade blockade with a strong grip of the knife. The notched thumb ramp and the Finger Choil, the profiled undercut finger between the handle and the cutting edge make knife control easier.
Handle - in black color. Covered with non-slip textured in two directions cladding (Bi-Directional Texturing), it strengthens the grip even with wet hands. Cladding made of plastic FRN material (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), fiberglass reinforced nylon. The folder is equipped with a solid metal clip with the possibility of mounting in four planes (up / down, right / left). 4-way clip positions.
