Emerson Opener (Emerson Wave) - patented by Ernest Emerson, placed on the spine of the blade - hook - allowing for quick opening of the blade when removing the knife from the pocket by hooking the hook to the edge of the pocket.
N690Co - high carbon stainless steel with cobalt addition for structural uniformity. Hardened in the range of 58-60 HRC. Manufactured in the Austrian Böhler-Uddeholm steelworks.
