- Native 5 G-10 fifth generation of cult knife in elite dark blue color reserved for Spyderco knives with CPM S110V tool steel head. Thanks to its properties, it maintains its focus for a very long time and guarantees aggressive cuts for a long time.

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Native 5 G-10 Dark Blue CPM S110V Plain -the fifth generation of the iconic multifunctional Native knife in the dark blue elite color reserved for Spyderco knives with the blade mad of stainless steel CPM S110V from the American company Crucible. Produced at the Spyderco factory in the USA (Golden, Colorado).
CPM S110V – a high-alloy martensitic tool steel with a hardness of 58-61 HRC, produced using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process. This process begins with a homogeneous bath of molten high-alloy steel, which is atomized through a nozzle under high-pressure nitrogen gas, forming a stream of small spherical droplets that solidify quickly into powder particles. The small particle size creates micro-ingots, drastically reducing alloy segregation in the steel and resulting in an exceptionally fine carbide microstructure when the powder is processed into finished steel. The CPM S110V alloy features a high carbon content of 2.8% and significant additions of niobium, vanadium, and chromium carbides. These properties provide exceptional edge retention and high corrosion resistance. This extraordinary steel is manufactured by Crucible® Industries.
Blade - laser-cut with a Leaf-Shaped profile, offers a long, gently curved cutting edge. Plain edge is finished with a Full Flat Grind for optimal performance. It features an enlarged 14 mm SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) for ambidextrous thumb opening. The thumb ramp jimping on the spine and the ForeFinger Choil (a finger groove between the handle and cutting edge) enhance knife control and usability. The refined and precisely engineered Back-Lock mechanism ensures peak precision and improved smoothness in operation.
Blade - with a Spear Point profile, 3.2 mm thickness. Made of the highest quality stainless steel CPM S110V (containing 2.8% carbon and a significant admixture of niobium, vanadium and chromium carbides) extremely resistant to abrasion - hardened in the 58-61 HRC range. Thanks to its properties, it maintains its focus for a very long time and guarantees aggressive cuts for a long time. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a full flat gring. The Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating eliminates glare. An enlarged 14 mm round SpyderHole cut-out (Spyderco patent) allows the knife to be opened with the thumb. High-quality (made in the USA) solid blockade Back-Lock guarantees a better smooth operation. A notched thumb ramp and Finger Choil (profiled undercut finger between the handle and the cutting edge) increase control over the knife.
Handle - covered with non-slip textured pads in dark blue color. Made of plastic G-10 (durable, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals) screwed to steel liners using torx screws. The folder is equipped with a screwed metal clip with the possibility of mounting in four planes (up / down, right / left). 4-way clip positions. In the back of the grip, an enlarged hole (lanyard hole) to pull the leash or safety rope.
