Native 5 G-10 Black Plain is the fifth generation of the iconic multifunctional Native knife produced since 1997. Folder with a head made of CPM S30V powder steel. Produced at the Spyderco factory in the USA (Golden, Colorado).
Blade - with a Leaf-Shaped profile, 3.2 mm thickness. Made of corrosion-resistant CPM S30V, resistant to mechanical stresses, hardness 58-59 HRC. This unique steel for the production of high-quality blades and knives is manufactured at Crucible Inc. Smooth blade (Plain type) led out with a full flat cut (Full Flat Grind). The Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating eliminates glares. An enlarged 14 mm round SpyderHole cut-out (Spyderco patent) allows the knife to be opened with the thumb. High quality (made in the USA) solid blockade Back-Lock guarantees smooth operation. A notched thumb ramp and Finger Choil (profiled undercut finger between the handle and the cutting edge) increase control over the knife.
Handle - profiled, covered with non-slip textured black linings for a comfortable and secure grip. Made of plastic G-10 (durable, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals). The folder is equipped with a solid metal screw-on clip with the possibility of fixing in four planes (up / down, right / left). 4-way clip positions. In the back of the handle was placed gap for installation of a security cable.
Frame - reinforced with two steel plates to which the attachment pad. This ensures high durability with a low knife weight. The whole has been bolted with enlarged torx screws to facilitate the twisting and unfolding of the folder.
