420H - a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel with an increased carbon (C) content of 0.17% to 0.23%, also containing chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo) offers high hardenability in the 54-58 HRC range, as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.
Blade - 3.7 millimeters thick with a Drop Point profile, with a cutting edge in the shape of a wave (Recurve), provides excellent cutting properties. Covered with a non-reflective Satin Finish (semi-matte) that eliminates glare. Smooth blade, Plain type characterized by a concave cut (Hollow grind). On the back of the blade, a universal saw suitable for cutting, among others ropes and belts. At the base of the blade, gilded on both sides of the blade protects against slipping of the hand on the blade.
