FOX Combative Edge Salus Fixed by Rob Walker (FX-CED-M2C)

Combative Edge Salus, the ultimate battlefield and survival knife. The result of cooperation between FKMD (Fox Knives Military Division) and legend Rob Walker, American knifemaker, inventor with over 40 years of experience, who changed once and for all the way knives are made.

N690Co - High carbon stainless steel blade with cobalt added for structural uniformity. Hardened to 58-60 HRC. Manufactured in Austrian steelworks Böhler-Uddeholm.

Physical Vapor Deposition Gun Met - durability of the surface and edges of the blade is increased by the PVD method consisting in deposition of thin layers from the gas phase. The coating method involves a purely physical process such as evaporation at high temperature in a vacuum followed by condensation. Applied coating has very high hardness which significantly increases the blade resistance to rust and abrasive wear.

Blade - with Drop Point profile. Plain blade with Flat Grind. The high grind guarantees excellent cutting properties and the false blade facilitates penetration. Upper jimping textured thumb rest and finger choil undercut between handle and cutting edge for better control of the knife as well as a finger guard to protect the hand from slipping on the blade.

Handle - textured facings in black. Made of durable, resistant to mechanical damage, chemicals, temperature G10 material. Do not conduct electricity, prevent freezing of the gloves to the sheaths. Scabbard - made of kydex and 1000D nylon in black. The holster with clasp secures the knife well against falling out.
