X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel was enriched by doping 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.
Blade - Drop Point type with an elegant satin finish. Plain blade with Full Flat Grind. This grind reduced the weight of the knife and improved the cutting properties. At the base of the blade, a brass guard protects the hand.
Handle - made of black polished Canvas Micarta laminate, riveted directly to the blank, provides virtually indestructible construction. The rounded shape of the scales eliminates sharp edges. At the base of the blade, a bolster of high-nickel brass. At the back of the handle, an enlarged lanyard hole.
Skeleton - the handles were covered with decorative fiber red spacer plates, to which the grip covers were attached.
