X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% chromium (Cr), 0.80% molybdenum (Mo), 0.20% vanadium (V).
Blades - Bowie profile, coated with a non-reflective Satin Finish to reduce glare. Smooth Plain edge blades with a Hollow Grind. Brass double guards at the base of the blade prevent the hand from slipping onto the edge, providing secure thumb support.
Handles - finished with brass heads. Scales with a unique pattern, made from synthetic coral Pakka wood (colorwood), a wood composite infused with phenolic resin. Beveled edges on the scales remove sharp edges for a comfortable grip, providing excellent control over the knives.
Sheath - handcrafted with space for two knives, made from natural dark brown cowhide leather. The sheath features an embossed manufacturer’s logo and is secured with a Prim-type snap fastener. The edges are stitched with decorative thread. Designed for vertical carry, it can be attached to a belt or gear for convenient transportation.
